Frank Müller holds board certification in Orthopedic Surgery, as well as certifications in Osteopathie, Osteoporose, Physical Therapie, Sports Medicine und Acupuncture.
He lectures worldwide and has served on the boards of the Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA), the European Register of Osteopathic Physicians (EROP), the Deutsch-American Academy of Osteopathy (DAAO), the Berufsverband Deutscher Osteopathischer Ärztegesellschaften (BDOÄ) and the International Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO). He is the immediate past-president of EROP.
In addition to his areas of expertise mentioned above, Mr. Müller has certified training in Diving Medicine, Ultrasound, and Emergency Medicine. He passed the International Proficiency Exam of the Osteopathic Cranial Academy and has completed certification programs for Pediatric and Cranial Osteopathy through the DAAO. Although he no longer performs operations personally, he maintains relationships with highly-qualified surgeons and can refer when appropriate.
Mr. Müller has a special interest in Sports Medicine and has served as team physician for several professional women’s and men’s ice hockey teams, including the German National Women’s Hockey Team. He was honored to be selected as part of the general medical team for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
He is certified as a rehabilitation sports trainer, and has received special training from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sportmedizin und Prävention (German Society for Sports Medicine and Prevention) as a “Doctor in Fitness and Health Studios.”
Mr. Müller is a co-author of the textbook Osteopathic Medicine (dditors: Johannes Mayer, Clive Standen), having written chapters on the treatment of the shoulder from both an orthopedic and an osteopathic perspective.
Mr. Müller is fluent in English and a native German speaker.
Dr. (ATSU, USA) Leah Frank is a US-trained physician who graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at Andrew Taylor Still University and is board-certified in the USA in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She has been actively involved in osteopathic education throughout her career. She completed an academic fellowship in Osteopathic Theory and Methods, and her frequent student lectures earned her a faculty title at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine as an Adjunct Instructor. Today, she teaches frequently at the Deutsch-American Academy for Osteopathy (DAAO) and the Society of Physicians for Manual Spinal and Extremity Therapy (MWE) at the Dr. Karl Sell Medical Seminar.
Dr. (USA) Frank is currently a board member of the Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA). She is or has been a member of several committees of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO), the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), the Osteopathic Cranial Academy (OCA), and the International Consortium on Manual Therapies, as well as the advisory board for the DAAO. She has significant specialized training in osteopathy in the cranial field. She spent two years of her residency training in family medicine, an experience which supports her interest in incorporating a person’s entire health system into their osteopathic treatment.
Dr. (USA) Frank is an athlete herself, has experience in sports medicine, and was medical director for the North Coast 24 (the US national championship for 24-hour ultramarathons) and One Day for the KIA (a fundraising event for the 12/24-hour ultramarathon for the children of fallen soldiers). In the past, she was part of the medical team for Team USA at the World Championship 24-hour Ultramarathon. She has also regularly provided medical support to a professional hockey team and an amateur roller derby league, as well as countless runners and triathletes in local races.
Additionally, she has special interest in working with pregnant women and babies, addressing issues such as constipation, heartburn, swelling, and back pain during and after pregnancy, as well as feeding difficulties in newborns.
Dr. (USA) Frank has published in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (now Journal of Osteopathic Medicine) and Journal of Manual & Manipulative Therapy and was the recipient of an award for a poster presentation at a national conference for her work on post-mastectomy lymphedema.

Dr. (USA) Frank is employed as a medical resident in Germany at this time.
